Havas Media Fuels New Agency Model With Series of Major Hires

Havas Media has gone public with a raft of exciting senior hires into three newly-created roles at the agency.

Stuart Butler takes up the role of Chief Strategy Officer, joining from Maxus where he has been Chief Planning Officer, EMEA, since 2012. He will lead the agency’s team of strategists and bring together Customer Experience and Comms planning to realise the agency proposition of building Meaningful Brands. Prior to joining Maxus Butler spent five years as Group Strategy Director at MEC.

Matt Dailey becomes the agency’s Chief Performance Officer, in a role designed to develop business performance planning and effectiveness across all media channels and technologies working directly with clients and the performance capability internally. Dailey comes from his role as Head of Performance Planning at ZenithOptimedia, which he joined in 2012.

Butler and Dailey join Havas Media in April and will report to Matt Adams, CEO of Havas Media and Havas Media International.

These new hires follow the appointment of Craig McCulloch in January to Chief Experience Officer. McCulloch is charged with delivering meaningful value, helping clients stand out by offering experiences that deliver convenience, entertainment and enjoyment for the consumer. McCulloch takes up the role after six years at Havas Media Group Consulting. He has a strong background in strategic and operational leadership, with more than 25 years’ experience in senior management positions within full service and digital agencies.
